Old Buckwellians were established in 1949 originally as a feed for old boys of BHCHS and in later years, since the amalgamation of local schools we have opened our membership to local footballers from any source, colour or creed. The club is based in Buckhurst hill, essex. We have 4 teams in the club and welcome new players of all standards.
Although the school in it's old guise closed down near on 20 years ago we still manage to attract a decent number of high quality and dedicated players to our ranks. We currently have three teams that play on Saturday afternoons in the London Old Boys League and our beloved over 35's team play a full fixture list of friendlies and cup games.
The most noteworthy aspect in the clubs recent history is the decision to relocate the ground to excellent nearby pitches, however with better facilities on hand we hope that the move will benefit all.

Buckhurst Hill County High School was the basis of this football club's existence and although since it's closure in 1989 it still has a thriving community of ex-pupils who band together to keep alive its glorious name and upstanding traditions. If you are interested in its history (many are) or simply wish to try and contact old school chums please visit the Buckhurst Hill County High School website. Their website will also provide information regarding a part of local history, an institution that shaped thousands of young minds.
